Strong winds lead to B.C. ferry cancellations, delays
Heavy winds forced the Spirit of British Columbia ferry to delay a sailing from Tsawwassen on Tuesday morning.
The storm has also led to the cancellation of several B.C. Ferries northern Gulf Islands sailings.
At around 11:30 a.m., BC Ferries spokeswoman Astrid Braunschmidt said the winds appeared to be easing a bit, but the Spirit of British Columbia was still running about an hour behind schedule.
