State memorial to be held Saturday for Dave Barrett

A state memorial service for former B.C. premier Dave Barrett will be held in Victoria on Saturday.
The service is open to the public, and mourners can contribute to an online book of condolences.
In addition to the online version, the government says a book of condolences will be available at the Farquhar Auditorium, where the service will be held.
All messages will be presented to the Barrett family.
