SPCA seizes 46 neglected dogs in Williams Lake

The BC SPCA has seized 46 neglected dogs and puppies from a rural property north of Williams Lake.
Marcie Moriarty, chief prevention and enforcement officer for the BC SPCA, said the dogs, a mix of breeds including American Eskimo, border collies, husky and Samoyed crosses, were seized Feb. 22 because of “lack of shelter, poor sanitation and inadequate veterinary care.”
The 46 dogs were confined to a half-acre parcel of land with no shelter.
