South Vancouver home razed by fire

Vancouver firefighters extinguished a house fire in the southeast part of the city Monday morning.
Jonathan Gormick, a Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson, said crews were called to the scene in 2600 block of Lynbrook Drive around 9:30 a.m.Heavy black smoke was pouring out of the first floor of the single-family home. Gormick said fire crews made entry into the building and quickly realized the fire had spread to the second floor.
“The captain made the decision to pull all crew
