Snow falls in Metro Vancouver, Grouse Grind closed

Metro Vancouver was hit with its first blast of winter early Friday, as temperatures dipped below zero and snow accumulated in some areas.
Grouse Mountain was forced to close the popular Grouse Grind hiking trail because of snow and ice causing hazardous conditions. There are other trails open at Grouse, but the mountain recommends hikers wear spikes on their boots.
