SkyTrain service resumes in Vancouver after lightning-caused problem

A train problem, believed to have been caused by lightning, that affected SkyTrain service on the Expo Line has been fixed.
TransLink says it will take a few minutes for trains to return to normal spacing and frequency.
“We believe the issue with the problem train was caused by a large lightning strike in the area of New Westminster Station. The train was not hit, but the lightning appears to have caused a spike in power which affected the propulsion system on the train,”  said
