Side dishes: Drags Benny brunch to raise money for LGBT support

Everyone’s welcome and it’s gonna be fun, fun, fun. A pop-up brunch, started in Calgary, Drags Benny, comes to Vancouver on Sept. 1. It’ll be at Waterview, off False Creek, and headlined by New Yorker Yuhua Hamasaki, a star on the Emmy Award-winning RuPaul’s Drag Race earlier this year.
“I am super, duper excited to be coming to Canada,” says Hamasaki. “I love being a part of events like this that support local LGBT communities and I love to eat. Let&rsq
