Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Fraser Valley

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for the Fraser Valley.
Environment Canada said Wednesday afternoon that its meteorologists are tracking “a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel-size hail and heavy rain.”
Areas further east such as Chilliwack and Hope, are expected to experience the brunt of the storm as it moves northwest across Chilliwack Lake and along the Coastal Mountain range.
