Several Safeway locations to re-open as discount grocery FreshCo

Ten Safeway locations in B.C. will reopen as discount grocery FreshCo later this year.
Five of those will be Safeway locations that were shut down in July 2018, including one store in Mission, two in Richmond and two in Surrey. The stores are expected to open sometime later this year.
The remaining five FreshCos are Safeway locations that will soon be closed for renovations before reopening. Those include stores in Abbotsford, Aldergrove, downtown Chilliwack, Ladner and Maple Ridge.
