Search on for Nanaimo 13-year-old missing since Friday

A search is on for a Nanaimo teen who has not been seen since Jan. 19.
According to a release from Nanaimo RCMP, 13-year-old Chaas Mearns has not been in contact with his family since Friday. He has many relatives across Vancouver Island and in Saskatchewan but he has not spoken with any of them.
His family is extremely concerned for his well-being.
He is 4-foot-10 and weighs 96 pounds, and has blond hair and blue eyes. His family says he is healthy and has no medical conditions.
