Salut: B.C. producers poised to make wine that matters
In many ways, fall is the official start of the wine New Year because it’s the birth of a new vintage.
As the harvest unfolds across B.C. wine country there is a level of anticipation and anxiety that is unmatched at any other time of the year.
It’s been said that each year tells its story, especially when you are growing grapes as far north as we are, but over the last decade there is little doubt weather remains a major factor in determining the quality of the harvest.
