Ross Urquart: Time to disrespect your elders

In the past, when I saw schoolchildren protesting against assault weapons, or the easy availability of guns in general, it made me sad. Not just because it brought to mind the horror of children being shot by mentally ill fanatics, but because I felt guilty for what we had done to those children. We spent years teaching them that right and wrong make a difference. We taught them that decisions are based on morally important principles. We told them if they wanted change it was a simple process.
