Rio Theatre announces Deadpool double bill; will Ryan Reynolds make an appearance?

Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson will declare “Save the Rio Week” next Monday, as the popular East Van arthouse theatre enters the final push of its fundraising campaign to buy its building and save the venue from renoviction.
On June 25, the Rio will host a special Deadpool Double Bill, airing both of the Marvel superhero films back-to-back at an event described as “unlike anything Vancouver has ever experienced.”
