Richmond mayoral candidate Hong Guo probed for professional misconduct

Lawyer Hong Guo is running for mayor of Richmond despite a slew of professional misconduct allegations by the Law Society of B.C. in relation to the disappearance of $7.5 million from her firm’s trust account.
Guo, who has been under investigation by the law society since April 2016 after she reported the missing funds, said she is confident she will be exonerated.
