RCMP look for inmate who walked away from Pitt Meadows work crew

Police are looking for an inmate who walked away from a supervised work crew in Pitt Meadows on Wednesday.
Ridge Meadows RCMP are searching the area around Southgate Road and Airport Way for the prisoner who was serving time at the Fraser Regional Correctional Centre.
The provincial facility houses offenders who have been sentenced to two years less a day.
The escaped inmate’s name has not been released but B.C. Corrections says the man is a low-risk offender who was serving time for
