Rare 'thunder snow' possible in Vancouver Thursday

A rare March thunder snow storm is possible Thursday in Metro Vancouver.
While snow at this time of year may frustrate many Metro Vancouverites generally used to more springlike conditions, meteorologists say this should be the last blast of winter this season.
Many residents in the region, especially at higher elevations, woke up Thursday to a few centimetres of snow, and Environment Canada has forecast more sporadic snow or rainfall throughout the day, along with the risk of a thunderstorm.
