Reed said a two-minute PSA (prostate-specific antigen) blood test and a digital rectal exam led to his diagnosis. He chose brachytherapy radiation in October. His PSA levels have since dropped from 10 to 1.5., and if he stays at 1 or below for more than nine months, he’ll be declared cancer-free.
