Prison staff intercepts package containing drugs at Mission Institution

Correctional Service Canada says it’s heightening security measures after a package containing nearly $92,000 worth of contraband was seized by staff at the Mission Institution on Sunday.
The packaged, which was intercepted at the medium security prison at 8:50 p.m., contained two cell phones and an unspecified amount of drugs and tobacco. The CSC says total estimated institutional value of the seizure is $91,800.
