Port Moody mayor charged with sexual assault

Port Moody Mayor Rob Vagramov has been charged with sexual assault in connection with an incident that is alleged to have taken place four years ago.
The charge was sworn in B.C. provincial court on Wednesday, and announced by the B.C. Prosecution Service in a statement on Thursday. Vagramov’s first court appearance is scheduled for April 25 in Port Coquitlam.
The assault is alleged to have taken place on April 1, 2015.
