Penticton RCMP getting 'close' on financial irregularity case involving downtown association

RCMP in Penticton remain keenly active in a case involving “financial irregularities” with the Downtown Penticton Association that occurred between 2013 and 2016.
In September 2016, the DPA’s new executive director Lynn Allin noticed some strange bookkeeping, notified a lawyer and later handed over financial documents to RCMP. In December 2016, RCMP began interviewing downtown business owners and a formal statement was made by Allin, acknowledging the investigation
