Pedestrian struck by transit bus dies in Burnaby

Mounties are investigating after a pedestrian died after being struck by a bus in Burnaby Thursday night.
RCMP say at around 7 p.m., Burnaby RCMP received a call about a woman, who was struck by a TransLink bus on 6th Street at 16th Avenue.Traffic is blocked on 6th Street between 15th Avenue and 17th Avenue in Burnaby while police investigate.Anyone with information about the collision is asked to call Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999, quoting police file number 2018-54423.ticraw
