Panda Pod hotel to open in Richmond this month

Metro Vancouver’s first pod hotel will open in Richmond later this month.
The Panda Pod Hotel, which claims to offer “modern, cozy, and convenient accommodation at affordable rates,” is scheduled to open at 6940 No. 3 Rd. in the last week of April.
The firm said in a news release that the hotel will have 64 sleeping pods loaded with comfortable high-end mattresses, a folding table and charging stations for laptops and phones.
