Overdose crisis: Life-saving naloxone available at B.C. pharmacies

Life-saving naloxone, a drug that can reverse an opioid overdose within minutes, is now available in community pharmacies throughout B.C.
A total of 1,900 naloxone kits been distributed to 220 pharmacies for the first time this month, including pharmacies in the London Drugs and Save-on-Foods chains, and will be free to people who use opioids or are likely to witness an overdose.
