North Vancouver's breakout burglar is behind bars

A 46-year-old North Vancouver man, dubbed the breakout burglar because he would hide inside stores during business hours and then rob the place at night, has been convicted of a handful of property-crime offences and assault.
Shane Harold Davidson will be sentenced April 29 in Vancouver provincial court after being found guilty of three counts of burglary, one count of assault and one count of theft under $5,000.
The convictions relate to crimes in December 2017 and January 2018.
