North Vancouver man clocked doing 161 km/h on test drive

A North Vancouver man looking to drop some cash on a car on Sunday was instead slapped with a hefty ticket for excessive speeding.
West Vancouver police clocked a four-door sedan travelling 161 km/h in a 90 km/h zone along Highway 1 near 22nd Street just before 2 p.m.
The driver was pushing the pedal to the metal while test driving a car from a North Shore dealership. He even had a salesperson riding shotgun in the passenger seat.
