North Vancouver high school evacuated due to phoney bomb threat

Students at Handsworth Secondary School in North Vancouver were sent home this morning following an evacuation due to a bomb threat.
North Vancouver RCMP say the threat was made 8:30 a.m.
Students and staff members were evacuated and initially positioned on school grounds.
At 10:15 a.m., police released all students from class for the day.
“A bomb threat made to Handsworth Secondary School this morning is being taken seriously,” North Vancouver RCMP said in a Tweet.
