New affordable housing being built in Surrey

A two-phase project in Surrey will see 176 new rental homes being built for low-income Indigenous people, seniors and families.
Located at 7561 140th Street, the project will replace a 33-unit complex that features only three-bedroom units. The new project will be a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom units; the new configurations will better meet the needs of the community, the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation said in Monday media release.
