More than 150,000 speculation tax declarations still outstanding

About 10 per cent of property owners in B.C.’s larger urban areas have yet to file declarations related to the province’s speculation and vacancy tax as the deadline approaches this Sunday, March 31.
Despite some complaints about the process being onerous, more than 90 per cent of homeowners have managed to complete a form in a few minutes, according to the Ministry of Finance.
