Modelling clay confused for bomb at Surrey construction site

Modelling clay formed to look like an explosive cleared a South Surrey construction site on Thursday morning.
The RCMP’s explosives disposal unit was called to the site at 167 Street and 17th Avenue at around 11 a.m. after workers discovered what they thought was an explosive device.
After police cleared the area, the disposal unit examined the material and determined it to be made out of harmless modelling clay.Police say the device may have been used as a movie prop at one point.
