Mission's Reptile Guy charged with animal cruelty

A Mission man, nicknamed The Reptile Guy, has been charged with two counts of animal cruelty on a blood python.
The SPCA says they have video which shows Mike Hopcraft, the former owner of the now closed Reptile Guy’s Rescue and Education Centre, performing a veterinary procedure on a friend’s blood python without the use of sedation or pain medication.
“Clearly, it is not appropriate for any individual without a veterinary licence to be performing such procedures,&rd
