Metro Vancouver to reopen Grouse Grind on June 21

North Vancouver’s Grouse Grind is expected to be reopened to hikers on June 21, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Metro Vancouver closed the popular trail nearly month ago to allow for maintenance work that included rock scaling, tree removal, step repair and safety netting replacement.
Metro staff say the work was needed to withstand an anticipated 500,000 hikers this year.
Crews are working seven days a week to complete the safety maintenance.
