Maple Ridge gym teacher punished for pushing student and calling him an 'asshole'

A Maple Ridge teacher has been suspended for three days without pay after pushing and verbally abusing a student.
According to an agreed upon statement of facts issued by the B.C. Commissioner for Teacher Regulation, Gregory Norman Brock was teaching a Grade 11 gym class on Sept. 22, 2017, when the incident occurred.
Brock has been a gym teacher since 2000, and in 2004 was given a “letter of expectation” after allegedly using profane language, inappropriate tone of voice and gestures
