Man posing as surgeon asks patients for deposit at VGH

Health officials have issued an alert about a man posing as a surgeon asking patients to pay a deposit at Vancouver General Hospital.
The Vancouver Coastal Health Authority alleges Asten Nguyen Phong Nguyen, posing as “Dr. Nguyen Nguyen,” has been advertising his services as a surgeon operating out of VGH, and asking patients to pay him a deposit for their surgery.
Vancouver Coastal says the man has no affiliation with the health authority, he isn’t registered with the College
