Man dead in Surrey shooting after weekend shooting, IHIT investigating

A man is dead after a shooting in Surrey on Saturday.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is investigating the homicide.
At about 4 p.m. Saturday, Surrey RCMP got calls about shots fired in the 18200-block of 67A Avenue.
“When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds who was taken to hospital,” police said in a press release.
“Despite the best efforts of medical staff, the male victim succumbed to his injuries and IHIT was called in.”
