Man dead after Kelowna car crash

A 66-year-old Kelowna man died Sunday afternoon after his car was involved in a single-vehicle collision off Highway 97 near the Kelowna International Airport.
Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey, of the Kelowna RCMP, said emergency services were called to the scene of a single vehicle collision on Highway 97 near Dry Valley Road at 1 p.m.
O’Donaghey said police arrived to find a black Mercedes 300e crashed against a small tree. The vehicle had been southbound when it veered off the travel portion
