Man arrested for random, unprovoked assaults in Vancouver's west side

A man has been arrested following a series of random, unprovoked assaults that occurred last month in Vancouver’s west side.
Colin Akwei, a 39-year-old Coquitlam man, faces one count of assault and one count of assault with a weapon. Following up on a tip from the public, investigators tracked down Akwei and he was arrested just after 3 p.m. on Tuesday in Coquitlam.
