Magnitude 4.5 earthquake strikes near Fort St. John

A magnitude 4.5 earthquake struck Fort St. John and the Peace region on Thursday evening.
According to Earthquakes Canada, the quake struck about 22 kilometres east-southeast of Fort St. John just before 5:30 p.m.
It was felt by the residents there, as well as some in Taylor, Chetwynd and Dawson Creek. 
Residents say on social media they felt the tremors around 5:30 p.m.
One Twitter user in Fort St. John says she felt her “entire apartment building shake like the top floor was go
