Low cloud hampers search for aircraft with two on-board missing between Hope and Merritt

Low clouds hampered a search on Thursday for a missing Cessna with two souls on-board last seen departing the Springbank Airport near Calgary at 10 a.m.
According to a release, the Joint Rescue Coordination Center in Victoria, an Electronic Locator Transmitter from the Cessna 182 was activated at 11 a.m., 170 kms north east of Vancouver.
The plan was bound for Nanaimo, flying to Kelowna, Hope and Boundary Bay along the way. It’s believed to have gone down between Merritt and Hope
