LIVE: Throne speech pledges affordability on ferries, ticket sales and cellphone bills

VICTORIA – A freeze on ferry fares, more affordable child care spaces, a crackdown on ticket scalping software, transparency on cellphone bills, and historic legislation on aboriginal rights are just some of the NDP government’s priorities for the coming year, according to its speech from the throne.
