Lightning sparks several new fires in southeast B.C.

Lightning activity in southeastern British Columbia has sparked several new fires in the region, the B.C. Wildfire Service said Saturday.
None of the new fires are currently affecting any communities or structures, however, meaning that the Hobo Creek wildfire remains the lone wildfire of note in the Southeast Fire Centre.
We're responding to the Whitetail Creek #BCwildfire, which is ~123 ha and located just outside of Kootenay National Park, ~40 km north of Radium Hot Springs. For more details
