Attorney General David Eby is troubled by the lack of compliance with controls at real estate firms. Vancouver and B.C. are becoming a model for non-compliance. So many laws on the books aren’t enforced. There is a general attitude that there is no need to comply, no one gets caught, and even if they do, it’s just a slap on the wrist. Now the whole world knows it.
