It is disappointing that the U.S. members of the International Joint Commission claim that they lack information regarding water-quality challenges in the Elk River watershed. In fact, a large amount of data and studies have been made available to both Canadian and U.S. governments and to the public at www.teck.com/elkvalley. In addition, the scope of potential impacts are well understood by regulators and stakeholders on both sides
