Letters, Dec. 11: NDP's climate action plan is too expensive and impractical, reader says

We just had a short visit to Victoria and to Europe, where politicians are promising a real rosy green outlook for the future. By 2030 or 2040, we will not import any diesel or gasoline vehicles — we will be all-electric. They are all wet in the pants over these announcements.
These politicians must think they can just pull magic right out of the wires and transformers already in place in the areas where they want electric vehicles. In our area, if half the cars were electric, our electric
