I take exception to the case put forward by Gordon Gibson that the proposed school tax is an “easy way to stick it to lifetime savers” and that the kids might as well forget their inheritance. His claim that it will “yield a devastating hit on ordinary homeowners in runaway real-estate markets” is pure hyperbole. Anyone owning a $3-million-plus house is not an ordinary homeowner and I highly doub
