Langdale ferry sailing cancelled following diesel spill
A diesel spill from a commercial vehicle caused B.C. Ferries to cancel sailings between Langdale and Horseshoe Bay on Sunday morning.
B.C. Ferries says a truck driving off the Queen of Surrey at the Langdale terminal spilled 50 litres of diesel into the ocean after one of the vehicle’s support legs snagged the ship’s apron and caused the truck’s fuel tank to rupture.
The accident happened at around 9 a.m.
