Ian Mulgrew: Shock-and-awe Twitter campaign anticipated byelection
Before the Nanaimo byelection was called, the first shots across the bow of the NDP minority government were fired last month by a lawyer who followed with an hourly fusillade of targeted Twitter attacks.
Veteran defence counsel Kevin McCullough initiated the campaign with a fiery Dec. 10 missive to the premier, finance minister and attorney general, denouncing the province’s lack of funding for legal aid.
