Ian Mulgrew: Lawyer in child-abuse case facing third strike for misconduct
A dad vilified in a high-profile custody case that rocked the B.C. government wants the mom’s lawyer punished and ordered to personally pay $500,000 for relying on a fraudulent expert witness.
In submissions unsealed by the B.C. Court of Appeal after a legal challenge by Postmedia News and CKNW, the dad’s lawyer, Morgan Camley, said the mom’s lawyer, Jack Hittrich, has received such a rare rebuke twice before in unrelated cases in 2013 and 2017.
