Hurdles remain for Kinder Morgan

Kinder Morgan’s $7.4-billion Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion project has been buffeted by court challenges and the threat of new regulatory hurdles, piled on by protesters, First Nations and even the B.C. government.
The project — approved by the previous provincial regime and Ottawa — would triple the capacity of the pipeline that carries Alberta oil to the coast and increase the number of oil tankers travelling B.C. waters. While Kinder Morgan is 14 for 14 defending its pro
