High winds cause ferry cancellations, power outages on B.C.'s South and Central Coast

Environment Canada posted wind warnings for parts of the B.C.’s South And Central Coast early Saturday, with winds of up to 110 kilometres an hour expected in some areas.
B.C. Ferries was forced to cancel several morning sailings, including Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo, Crofton to Salt Spring Island, Comox to Powell River, and Cortes Island to Quadra Island.
