Heavy snow expected on Coquihalla

Environment Canada says as much as 25 centimetres of snow could fall before Tuesday morning on the Coquihalla highway.
In an alert issued Monday afternoon, the heaviest snowfall was expected in Pine Pass and the Coquihalla Summitt but applies to all sections of the highway from Hope to Kamloops.
Compact snow or slippery slush was already covering the road by Monday evening.
The system passing through the area will taper to flurries by Tuesday morning.
